Description

Urotube is recommended for the transport of urine specimens for routine culture and urine AFB culture.

Urotube contains 0.5 ml of maintenance formula. Maintenance formula holds bacterial population in urine specimen for 24 hours at room temperature at levels comparable to those in urine specimens without additive but held under refrigeration for same period.

The tube is convenient for urine specimens from remote areas in which refrigeration is not practical.
